Calshot fun session and Children in Need
This event was arranged as pasrt of Calshot's 'winter festival', which also consisted of climbing and bouldering competitions, a pull up competition and a general 'come-and-have-a-go' style event. Money was made for Children in Need, and participants were encouraged to donate something before having a go at the drytooling routes. Great fun was had by all and the event overall was a great success.
Route setting taking place - one route was set on the huge overhanging wall, a great place for spectators.
More route-setting on the big overhanging wall.
Even young participants had a go - this lad was 10 years old and cruised the taster route!
All of the routes were bottom-roped for safety - the norm for most drytooling events.
Pete enjoying himself after setting the steep route on the main wall.
